Fujifilm just announced the 5th generation of their legendary X100 series camera – X100V. Fuji X100 was initially shown at the Photokina show in September 2010 and was introduced in February 2011. I remember the hype when the first one came out. It was something new, something different, it was beautiful, it was powerful, it was sexy and almost pocketable. Of course it was slow, and probably that was the reason it never reached my camera bag.
My love for Fujifilm dates back in time. After the film era, when using Nikon FM3a, N80 and F100 with Fujifilm and Ilford 35mm films (I was never a big fan of Kodak film), my first experience with Digital cameras was with Nikon Coolpix. I was then switching back and forth between Canon and Nikon small point and shoots or bridge cameras, until I got my first Nikon Digital SLR in the beginning of 2009.
